The service SDS offers is individualized to the needs and goals of each client. Each practice is unique and each doctor has short and long term objectives that are individual to their practice and to their personal aspirations. The components of our support are designed to assist clients in defining achievable short and long-term goals, then providing methods of success, team training and client coaching to achieve their planned objectives.

The Practice Plan

The Practice plan starts with in-depth questionnaires completed by both doctor and team incorporating historical data to review past performance. SDS practice specialists will then develop a comprehensive practice plan using proven strategies to achieve realistic goals. This customized plan, in agreement with the doctor, will crystallize the doctor's vision and become the basis for SDS coaching.

Monthly Assessment Report (M.A.R.)


"The Numbers Don't Lie"

The SDS MAR (Monthly Assessment Report) is a powerful tool that tracks practice performance in key areas on a monthly basis. It provides the doctor and their Sunrise coach with a snapshot of the most current practice activity as well as recent practice trends. SDS can then discuss strategies for improving performance or keeping a practice on track.

Each month, using a simple form, our clients report month end practice data to SDS. We then run a sophisticated report covering many aspects of the 4 key areas of a dental practice: 1) Production; 2) Collections; 3) Growth; and 4) Profitability.

This colorful, easy to read report displays graphs, tables and charts that readily show the doctors if they are on track with the planned performance goals they have set for their practice for the current year as well as high performance dental industry standards.

The MAR also provides a comparison to last years performance as well as a relative comparison to the performance of other Sunrise clients. Positive trends indicate performance that should continue. Negative trends allow the doctor to make adjustments along the way.

Assuming the data we receive is correct, the “numbers don’t lie” but rather, they provide a powerful reflection of current practice activity..

Coaching

Monthly coaching calls will focus, guide and motivate the doctor toward the attainment of their goals. Coaches are experienced, highly successful SDS trained dentists allowing for an individualized level of support. SDS coaches quickly identify challenges and are adept at problem solving and recommending appropriate strategies.

Methods For Success

In-depth and visual strategies designed to assist the doctor in simplifying the process of effective complex problem solving. Methods are part of the SDS coaching system and are provided to SDS doctors on a quarterly basis in a audio-visual CD and manual.
