Meet the Support Team
We believe that clear communication is essential during the consulting process so we’re able to answer your questions both quickly and effectively. To ensure your process with us is as smooth and transparent as possible, we have an excellent support team here at SDS. In addition to experienced administrators, we also have multiple trainers who can train your team on-site to serve your patients better and increase your monthly revenue. Read on below to start getting to know some of the friendly people you’ll meet at SDS.
Brittiney Pilson - Director of Operations
Brittiney’s dental career started in 1997 as a certified dental assistant. She achieved her Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University and then completing her EDDA certification at Bowling Green Technical College. Her additional advanced training includes oral/IV sedation, dental implant placement, and ACLS/BLS. She worked with Dr. Feck since June 1999 as Dental Assistant Team Leader and then Patient Care Specialist. Finally, she worked with Sunrise on and off until becoming the Director of Operations in May 2008 as a full-time position. Today, she helps with facilitating training and coaching dentists across the United States and Canada in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing Strategies, Leadership, Team Building, Management, and Customer Service. She also organizes and supervises all the administrative activities that facilitate the efficiency of the home office. She really enjoys working closely with all the Sunrise members and their teams.
Brittiney and her husband have been married for nearly 20 years, and they have two daughters named Claire and Grace who are very active in soccer, tennis, and many other high school clubs. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends (including their four-legged family members Hootie and Charley) and vacationing anywhere warm!
Marsha Long - Client Statistics
Marsha has been working with Dr. Feck and the Sunrise team since February of 2005, providing a wide range of services and support to clients – but especially in the area of practice statistics! Over the past years, she has greatly enjoyed developing strong relationships with members and seeing their willingness to share experience and success with each other in such a generous manner. For her education, she is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Paralegal degree. Prior to working for Sunrise Dental Solutions, she was a paralegal for several years, providing legal research and assistance to several attorneys.
Outside of work, Marsha is happily married with a son and a daughter, the latter of whom is starting college in the fall! In her free time, she enjoys being with family, reading, and traveling.
John Muller, DDS - Chief Practice Analyzer
Dr. Muller received his Bachelor of Science from the University of San Francisco in 1978, followed by the completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of dentistry in 1985. Today, his career in the field spans nearly 35 years, and he brings well over two decades of experience in dental practice development and dental management consulting to Sunrise Dental Solutions. He has a keen interest in the numbers associated with dental practice and has extensively studied the business side of this field!
Dr. Muller and his wife of nearly 30 years, Dr. Cindy Lyon, shared a general practice for many years in Murphys, California. Today, they are both retired from their general practice, and she currently serves as the Academic Dean at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry while Dr. Muller enjoys working one-on-one with our clients and helping them manage their numbers.
Whenever he has free time, Dr. Muller enjoys doing all types of outdoor activities. He has participated in triathlons for well over three decades and even qualified for the USAT Olympic Distance National Championships multiple times. He is a Level 3 Certified US Masters Swimming coach and regularly swims with his local Masters group. He also spends extended time in the remotest regions all over North America, studying all species of bear, including his favorite – the Grizzly Bear.
Elaine Granados - RDH, MEd
Practicing since 1975, Elaine has had a myriad of dental experiences, which include holding numerous positions in organized dental hygiene like dental hygiene educator, dental assistant, administrative team leader, and business administrator. With this background, she is effective in motivating and educating the front and back office with the teamwork necessary to deliver the highest quality of care possible today!
Being married to a dentist, Elaine can “see both sides of the coin” when it comes to both owning a dental practice and working as a team member. When not working in her husband’s office or training clients, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her four children and grandchildren!
Kimberly Peseski, VP Member Services
Kimberly is our Vice President of Member Services and one of our on-site trainers. She prepares training materials, schedules on-site visits and handles client relations. Kimberly graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. She has worked in the dental profession for over 15 years and loves the challenges and opportunities it presents.
In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys traveling, hiking and creating content for social media. She lives in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona and loves to take advantage of the warm weather and beautiful scenery.
